MunchPak Review - Is It Worth It?

Have you ever wondered what people in other countries snack on when they get hungry?

After taking German in high school and seeing my daughter taking Spanish in school, I've always wondered about the types of foods that people in other countries eat when they are watching television or while they are enjoying a sporting event with their friends.

MunchPak gives you a chance to find out! The subscription company sends boxes to your home that include snacks from numerous countries, such as Germany, Canada, and France.

Each box contains items that you might get if you were to go to a grocery store in that country and get snack items.

The Process

There are different sizes of boxes that you can choose from depending on how many snacks you want to get.

The smallest and least expensive is the Mini Pak.

It contains about five snacks and is ideal for one person. 

The Family Pak contains over a dozen snacks to enjoy.

Keep in mind that the largest pack is more expensive, but you're also going to get more items inside. 

If you're not sure that you're going to like the flavors of the snacks that you receive, then I would get the smaller box until you get a better idea for the variety that you get.

After choosing the size of the box that you want, a team picks just the right foods to package to send to your home.

Although there are images of the items that could be put in the box, you never know what you're going to get. 

It's a surprise each month.

You also never really know what country you're going to get snacks from as there's usually a variety.

Shipping

You don't have to wait until a certain date for your order to ship.

As soon as you subscribe and place your order, your box is sent out within about 24 hours.

I usually get my boxes in a few days after I place my order. 

I've never seen a company that sends orders out that fast, which means I can try new foods sooner as well.

Aside from the United States, the team makes sure that you're going to get items from around the world.

However, some of the flavors take some time to get adjusted to since they aren't what you would expect.

There are also discounts offered at other times during the year so that you can save even more money on the items that you purchase. 

Boxes can also be sent as gifts to family and friends, which is something fun to consider if you know someone who has a birthday coming up or if you're trying to choose a gift for a holiday.

Personalization

There is an option for you to personalize the boxes that you get.

You can choose a few snacks from the website that are $1 each.

These snacks are included in the box that you receive.

You can also request that they are shipped separately. 

This is an option to consider if you only want to try one or two items instead of a large variety of snacks.

You can essentially make your own box depending on the flavors that you enjoy and the things that you want to try before getting the box that's hand-selected in the mail.

This is sometimes a less expensive option than getting even the smallest box that is offered by MunchPak because you can get the same number of snacks for a lower price.

Customer Service

This is one of the areas that should be improved with MunchPak.

I have contacted the company on a few different occasions only to be asked to call back with no response given to my question.

I understand that the team is busy, but it shouldn't take weeks to get a response back for a simple question.

There have been times when I've tried to email the company with a concern or a question and have received a response back faster than when I call.

When I did get a response, the team was courteous and professional, which was a benefit.

Although this is a company that I would recommend, I would also advise you to start with the smallest box first until you see what you're going to get.
